These are the Thomasville Parks and Recreation Department's three rental facilities which are available to the public for rent for special occasion on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). NO RENTALS during Monday - Friday due to daily department programs. Listed below is a brief rental rate chart below that is are descriptions of each site as well as location links. Rental Rate Overview
All rentals rates begin with the 4 hour rate, a paid deposit of $25 at our Main Office will reserve your reservation. Center Reservations are allowed from 10AM - 10PM.

The Central Recreation Center is located in downtown Thomasville. It houses childcare programs, athletics in the gymnasium and has a programming room for activities and rentals. Surrounding the center are three tennis courts which are also lined for Pickleball, a playgrounds, basketball court, hand ball wall and a multi-use athletic field. The Central Recreation Center is available for public rental as well depending on availability. Central Recreation Center provides 20 6ft Rectangular tables and 100 chairs.
Reginald Strickland Center

The Reginald Strickland Center serves the community in many different capacities. The center hosts recreation programs through out the week. The center is also the anchor of Carver Park which is at the same location. Carver Park has two full court basketball courts, a playground as well as a shelter. The Center also host many special events for community collaboration efforts as well as cross departmental collaboration. The Reginald Strickland Center is available for public rental as well depending on availability. Reginald Strickland Center provides 10 6ft Rectangular tables and 50 chairs.
